Roadmap

no dates, on purpose

Why there are no dates

Because I would miss them. This gets built in the evenings around a job, so the order below is real and the timing is not. Things near the top are what I am actually working on. Things near the bottom are things I want, in the order I want them, and any of it can be shoved sideways by something breaking or by enough of you asking for the same thing.

Just landed

Item cards, and the whole packet's worth of them

Every starting kit for all thirty-six professions, plus the shops, the armoury and what is in the hoard. Take the kit your profession starts with, or browse the lot. Write your own as well, print them onto A4 and cut them out.

Your backpack, laid out the way the sheet is

Two hands, four on the belt, ten in the pack, with your cards drawn in the boxes they are in. Drag one from box to box and the sheet follows. How many of a thing you have is a control in the slot rather than a field in a form.

Handing something over

Type the card once, tick who gets one, and it goes. At their end a tray comes out and they drag it onto the box they want it in.

The encounter, with names and rounds

Build the ambush at the bridge while the crows are still in the tavern, and put one of them in front of the table when it starts. Your crows go in the fight too. Call for initiative and every screen says so.

Changing the email your campaign is filed under

It could not be changed, and a typo took the only route back to a lost Ref link with it. It is in the seat panel now, and both the old address and the new one get told when it moves.

Deleting campaigns nobody opens

A table nobody opens for a year goes. You get a warning about a month before, carrying your Ref link, and opening the table is all it takes to keep it. If you would rather let it go, that warning also carries every card at the table as a file you can load into another one. A table with no address on file is never swept, because there is nowhere to send the warning. The whole policy is in the FAQ.

Sheets on your Owlbear Rodeo map

Link a token to a crow and anyone at the table can click it to read that sheet, in a small panel that sits in the corner and stays put. Click your own and you get the editable one. One install now, not two. How to set it up.

Overland travel

Travel days with their own encounter number, separate numbers for travelling and for resting, and the four roles for the crows who are not driving. The Ref still decides what happens. The app only counts.

Roll tables you write yourself

Type a table in, roll on it in front of everybody, and export it to another campaign rather than typing it twice.

Sheets on and off paper

Export any sheet back onto the fillable PDF and print it. Already got one filled in? Upload it and the app types it up.

Next

Sheets that fit the screen you are on

The character sheet matches the paper one box for box, which is the right call for printing and the wrong one for a phone. The plan is layouts you can choose between rather than one long scroll.

After that

More of the table's paperwork

The bits of a session that are currently four browser tabs and a notebook. I would rather add these slowly and get them right than add all of them badly.

Accounts, and crows that are yours

Somewhere to keep your crows, your roll tables and the things you have written down, across campaigns instead of inside one. Being designed now. A seat link will still get you to the table without one.

Not planned

Having to make an account to play

A seat is a link, and it stays one. Joining from a phone in ten seconds with nothing to install is the part worth protecting. Accounts are coming and they will sit on top of that rather than in front of it, so nobody at your table has to sign up to roll a d10.

Playing the game for you

This is an aid, not an automation of the Ref's job. It counts, it remembers and it shows everyone the same number at the same time. It does not decide what happens, and it is not going to start.

The rules themselves

The rules are MCDM's and they are not mine to reproduce. You bring the playtest packet. This is unofficial and I am not affiliated with them, so feedback on the rules goes to MCDM through their own survey, not to me.

How this list changes

Mostly by people telling me things. The Something's wrong button inside a campaign is the best way, because it tells me which build you were on and which page you were looking at. Otherwise I am in the Crows TTRPG channel of the TeaPK Adventures Discord.

Two people asking for the same thing moves it up this page faster than anything I plan on my own.
